Planning a Halloween party? According to Good Housekeeping, there are plenty of games to keep your guests entertained.

Some of the games focus on food and drinks. The Halloween cocktail roundup suggests the pomegranate poison spritz and the eye-see-you martini. In the blind cocktail taste test, guests wear blindfolds and try to guess the names of the drinks. Guests can also decorate plain cookies with frosting, food coloring and sprinkles, then vote for the best one.

Other games test memory and guessing skills. In the two truths and a lie game, players use past Halloween experiences to share three stories, and the others try to spot the false one. Guess How Much Candy has guests guess the number of candies in a jar, and each person gets three tries. Guess the Pumpkin's Weight rewards the closest guess with the pumpkin or another prize.

Movie fans may enjoy the movie clues game, which uses items such as a mask from Friday the 13th and the mask from Scream. Guess the Movie Quote uses quotes from popular Halloween films, and hosts may suggest a movie watch party the night before. Halloween Movie Scenarios asks guests to recreate iconic scenes from The Shining, The Exorcist and Hocus Pocus.

Some games are great for a spooky mood. Halloween Hide-and-Seek is played with the lights off, and caught players lie like corpses in a cemetery. Ghost Stories is a storytelling game where guests sit in a circle and tell scary stories. Deadly Wink is a mystery variant in which a secretly chosen player winks at guests.

There are also games for active groups. In the Balloon Popping Race, teams pop balloons attached to their ankles using only their feet. Halloween Guess Who has guests walk around asking others for clues about a character name taped to their backs. Halloween Heads Up has one player guess Halloween words from Post-it notes using clues from others.

Word and listening games are another option. Spooky Telephone is a whispered phrase game that works better with larger groups. Halloween Jinx has guests avoid Halloween-themed words, and slips are tallied to pick a winner. The Halloween story game has guests add to a written story using party invitations. Mind Reader Game has guests guess a test subject's questionnaire answers.
