Mopar, the parts and service brand linked to Chrysler, is planning to reveal a limited-edition 2027 Dodge Charger, according to Autoweek.
The Mopar name has a long history. Chrysler formed its dedicated parts division in 1929, and it acquired Dodge in 1928. The name Mopar was first put on a can of antifreeze in 1937, and the MoPar brand name was trademarked and officially launched that same year.
Because of this history, 2027 is roughly the 90th anniversary of the Mopar label. The new package is called the Mopar '27, and it will be limited to 270 units.
The Mopar '27 will offer 90 vehicles in each of three exterior colors: Bludicrous, Diamond Black, and White Knuckle. The package is available on two models, the Charger R/T and the Charger Scat Pack Plus. It has an MSRP of $10,995.
The Charger R/T is powered by a 420-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbo Sixpack engine and reaches 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. The Charger Scat Pack Plus produces 550 horsepower and reaches 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds.
The Mopar '27 will debut at the Mopar NHRA Las Vegas Nationals, held from October 30 to November 1 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It will then appear at the 2026 SEMA Show, held from November 3 to 6 in booth 59119 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Each buyer will receive a Mopar '27 owner kit that includes a personalized certificate of authenticity.
