Aston Martin Unveils Valhalla Spider With Two Roof Options
Aston Martin's open-top Valhalla Spider makes its global debut at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas.

Aston Martin has revealed its Valhalla Spider, an open-top version of the Valhalla. According to Carscoops, the car makes its global debut at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas.
The Spider keeps the carbon-fiber monocoque (a single strong shell that forms the car's main body) used in the standard Valhalla. It comes with a removable fabric roof as standard. A removable carbon-fiber roof is also available as an option.
The roof you choose changes how fast the car can go. With the fabric roof, the top speed is capped at 124 mph (200 km/h). With the carbon roof, the top speed rises to 217 mph (350 km/h). With the roof fitted, the Spider delivers more than 1,322 lbs (600 kg) of downforce, which is the downward push that helps keep a car on the road. The roof scoop is also 1.3 inches (35 mm) taller than before.
Every Spider comes standard with a carbon fiber Touring Seat. Carbon fiber seats from the Valhalla Coupe are available at no extra cost. The Spider also has a frameless version of the coupe's dihedral doors, which are doors that open upward and outward.
Under the body, the Spider uses a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine (a V8 has eight cylinders arranged in a V shape) that works with three electric motors. Together they produce a combined 1,064 horsepower and 811 pound-feet (1,100 Nm) of torque. The car has an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. With all lightweight options, it weighs 3,703 lbs (1,680 kg), which is 55 lbs (25 kg) more than the Coupe. The Spider needs 2.5 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h).
Aston Martin has not announced pricing for the Spider. It has also not said how many Spiders it will build. The Valhalla Coupe is capped at 999 units worldwide.
Deliveries of the Spider will start in the third quarter of next year.
