United Airlines Opens Its Largest Club Lounge in Houston
The new lounge at George Bush Intercontinental Airport is set to welcome customers starting October 22, 2026.

United Airlines is opening the largest United Club in its network at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston. According to NerdWallet, the lounge will welcome customers starting October 22, 2026.
The lounge is part of the new Terminal B North concourse. United will have 22 gates in that concourse, which gives the airline a total of 48 gates in Terminal B.
The lounge covers 54,000 square feet and sits on a single floor. It can seat 800 passengers. The carrier says it is the largest airline lounge across both North and South America.
There is a 1,350-square-foot outdoor terrace for guests who want some fresh air. Inside, the lounge has 11 soundproof phone rooms for people who need a quiet place to talk or work.
The lounge does not have showers. The only United lounge in Houston that offers showers is the Polaris Lounge, which is reserved for business class passengers.
United Premier Gold or above elites can enter the lounge on international itineraries. Families can also visit a family-friendly area, which has a Pac-Man machine.
Houston is home to NASA's Johnson Space Center. It is also United's primary gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean. The city already has a Polaris Lounge and a United Club Fly.
